Questions?
Why 12-speed over 11-speed?
The 12-speed 105 R7100 offers wider gear range (11-36T vs 11-30T), smoother gear steps, and improved chain retention. You get easier climbing gears AND higher top-end speed. It's the biggest upgrade in 105 history.
What's the difference between Odin 3 and Odin 4?
Odin 4 upgrades to the latest 12-speed 105 R7100 (vs 11-speed), adds hydraulic disc brakes (vs mechanical), and includes a carbon handlebar. Same 8.8kg weight but significantly better performance and control.
Are hydraulic brakes worth it?
Absolutely. Hydraulic brakes require 40% less hand force, self-adjust for pad wear, and perform consistently in all weather. Once you ride hydraulic, you'll never go back to mechanical.
Is this suitable for racing?
Yes. The Odin 4 is UCI-certified and race-ready. Many amateur racers compete successfully on 105, and the 12-speed version closes the gap to Ultegra even further.
